Time Limits

The following are TIME LIMITS in our court

Time to Motion for Discovery – 1 Week or 7 days after Service

Time to file first Admissions – 1 Week or 7 days after Service

Time to file Motion to Extend Time – 1 Week or 7 Days after Service

Time to File Response – 2 Weeks or 14 days after Service

Time to File Appeal – 1 Week or 7 days after courts opinion is issued

Our court disposes of most cases within one month or 30 days.

A Complaint is filed and served upon a party and that party has 7 days to motion for discovery and admissions. If no motion to extend time is asked for by respondent in an action then their response must be filed with the clerk within 14 days of service of the complaint.

Court decisions are usually given within 14 days but may take up to 180 days for a complex issue of law or case.
